A carton taping machine, or carton sealer, is an automated or semi-automated packaging machine used to apply adhesive tape (such as BOPP) to the top and bottom flaps of cardboard boxes. It streamlines packaging lines, ensures uniform seals, and significantly reduces both labor costs and material waste.
Types of Carton Taping Machines
Semi-Automatic: An operator manually folds the top flaps of the box and feeds it into the machine. The machine then drives the carton through, automatically applying the tape.
Fully Automatic: The machine automatically folds the top and bottom flaps and applies the tape without requiring manual assistance.
Random Case Sealers: Equipped with sensors, these machines automatically adjust to different sized boxes in real-time, making them ideal for varying production lines.
Uniform Case Sealers: Designed for sealing large runs of identically sized boxes. The width and height are adjusted manually depending on the box dimensions.
