A pillow bag machine (or pillow packaging machine) is an automated system that wraps and seals products into flexible, pillow-shaped pouches. It operates by forming continuous plastic film into a tubular shape, filling it with the product, sealing the ends, and cutting the bags to the desired length.
Core Working Process
Film Feeding: A roll of packaging film unwinds and is guided through rollers.
Forming: The film passes through a forming tube or collar, which shapes it into a continuous tube.
Product Infeed: Items are fed into the formed film tube via an infeed conveyor.
Sealing: The machine makes a longitudinal seal along the overlapping film, followed by horizontal seals at the top and bottom.
Cutting: A heated blade cuts the sealed, tubular film into individual pillow bags.
